Trøndelag, Norway

I live in a part of Norway called Trøndelag. More specifically: Nord-Trøndelag. This is where I was born, this is where I grew up and where I have lived all my life (apart from the year I spent in England and the months I lived in Kongsberg). Way back in the days, this region used to be the most important in Norway. The capital city was Trondheim/Nidaros and it was the Vikings' power centre. The history of Trøndelag is my favourite thing about this region. It makes me proud to call myself a "trønder".

I have spent all my life by the fjord. All my summers have been spent swimming in it, all my winters have been spent watching the fog cover it. Trøndelag is beautiful.

  1. Looks beautiful. I imagine for younger people it might be a bit quiet?
