Book page

So I just wanted to let you know - in case you hadn't noticed already - that I recently made a "Books 2014" on my blog. I love to read and I've recently rediscovered my love for reading and am now an active user of Goodreads. I rate and review every book I read on there, so I wanted to make a page on my blog for anyone who wanted to read them. I list the books in the order of when I finished them and link my reviews. You can find the page on the menu bar above this post or just click here.

You're also welcome to become my friend on Goodreads. You can find my profile by clicking my name:

Telly Tuesday: Once Upon A Time

First aired: 23rd October 2011
Number of episodes: 66
Number of seasons: 3
Status: Current (hiatus)

I'm still quite new to Once Upon A Time (just finished watching season 1), but I'm very much in love with this series.

I bet most of you have already heard of this show, but it you haven't, here's basically what it's about: classic fairytale characters stuck in the modern day world in a town called Storybrooke (yes, like storybook). We've got Snow White, Belle, Pinocchio, Little Red Riding Hood, Rumplestiltskin, you name it. The main character, however, is called Emma and is not from a fairytale, but created just for this series. She's the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming and the only one who is able to break the curse (of course there has to be a curse!) on Storybrooke and the other characters.

What I love about this series is that you get the best of both worlds: both fantasy and real life. Crimes, drama, comedy and a new story in every episode. I really like that.

Do you like Once Upon A Time?

June

Pinch, punch, first day of the month!

It's June and officially summer! I'm sitting my last exam tomorrow and then I have eight days of freedom before I begin working. Gotta have a summer job, ya know.

Other than that I don't really have any plans for June. Looking forward to July, though, and London Film and Comic Con.

Q: What are your plans for June?
